Canadian travel restrictions lift, facilitating entry of skilled workers to Canada
On October 1, 2022, the Canadian government lifted all travel restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, which were in effect for over two years. Prior to October 1, 2022, certain skilled workers were unable to enter Canada due to vaccination status and quarantine requirements. Following the removal of Canada’s pandemic-related travel restrictions, employers can now re-evaluate their cross-border travel policies for these skilled foreign workers.
