On November 28, 2024, Carrie Wright, Partner at BARTLAW LLP, co-chaired the Ontario Bar Association’s annual Year in Review: Critical Immigration Law Updates, featuring an expert panel that shared helpful advice on key recent changes in immigration legislation and policies. She mediated the portion of the panel related to changes for international students and the recent announcement from the government on immigration levels for 2025-2027, sharing her own insights on this year’s constantly shifting immigration policies and priorities.

Oliver Mao, Director of Foreign Worker Programs at BARTLAW LLP, was an expert panel speaker at the Ontario Bar Association’s annual Year in Review: Critical Immigration Law Updates. He engaged in a lively discussion with the program’s co-chair, sharing his expertise regarding changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, work permits for intra-company transferees, and spousal work permits, on November 28, 2024.
