- Carrie Wright and Jacqueline Bart updated the Canadian Chapter of the upcoming 2nd edition of Immigration Law: A Global Guide From Practical Law in June 2016, edited by Laura Devine and published by Thomson Reuters.
- BartLAW is the winner of the Corporate LiveWire – Global Awards 2016 for Relocation Law.
- Jacqueline Bart was awarded the appointment of Fellow by the Board of Directors of the American Bar Foundation of the American Bar Association. This award is in recognition “extraordinary leadership in the profession, service to society, and commitment to the ideals and objectives of the American Bar Association”. International Fellows are limited to a total of 300 worldwide.
- Jacqueline Bart will speak at the American Bar Association’s 2016 Spring Meeting in New York City on April 16. The panel topic will be “Syria Refugees: What Are the Economic and Social Consequences to the States Granting Asylum to Those Displaced?” Ms. Bart will speak about Canadian refugee resettlement.
