Key Responsibilities
As an Immigration Law Clerk at BARTLAW LLP, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting lawyers in preparing work permits, visas, and express entry immigration applications.
- Drafting legal applications and submissions with precision and care.
- Communicating with clients, IRCC, CBSA, and Visa Offices to facilitate processes.
- Organizing and maintaining client files and case documentation efficiently.
- Providing general administrative support, including occasional reception duties.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time immigration experience in a law firm.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Experience handling work permits, visas, and permanent residence applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for client care and a genuine desire to assist others in navigating the immigration process.

Location, Working Conditions, and Compensation
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Working Conditions: Full-time, 40 hours per week (In-office, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)
- Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience
