BARTLAW LLP News

At BARTLAW, delivering exceptional service to our clients is always our top priority. As we continue to strengthen our team, we are excited to introduce two new members.

We are delighted to welcome Amanda Burns, Immigration Law Clerk, and Rachel Gador, Associate Lawyer. Their immigration knowledge and academic excellence will be tremendous assets to our firm, and we look forward to their contributions to our client care as we continue to grow and serve our clients.

Rachel Gador, Barrister and Solicitor, was called to the bar in Ontario in June 2023 after graduating in the top 4% of her class at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022.  Rachel has practised exclusively in the area of Canadian immigration and citizenship law and has significant experience appearing before the Federal Court, immigration- and refugee-related administrative tribunals, and Canada Border Services Agency on behalf of clients. Rachel has assisted clients with a wide variety of matters, including humanitarian and compassionate permanent residence applications, temporary resident visa applications, refugee claims, family sponsorship applications, and responses to allegations of inadmissibility.

Amanda Burns, Immigration Law Clerk, has a French master’s degree specializing in Immigration, and was a visa officer with the Canadian government prior to starting her position at BARTLAW LLP.

Carrie Wright, Partner at BARTLAW LLP, has been elected to the Ontario Bar Association Citizenship and Immigration Section Executive as a Member-at-Large for the 2025–2026 term, marking her seventh consecutive year of service on the executive, after serving as Chair and past-chair. In addition, Ms. Wright has been elected as a Member-at-Large to the Ontario Bar Association Women’s Lawyers Forum and appointed as a Member-at-Large to the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Section Executive for the 2025–2026 term.
