  • January 7, 2025 – Provincial Nominees:

On January 7, 2025, the government issued 471 invitations in its first draw of the year for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program category. To be selected, candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 793. This draw highlights the importance of the PNP category in Canada’s immigration strategy, allowing provinces and territories to nominate individuals who can contribute to their specific economic needs.

  • January 8, 2025 – Canadian Experience Class:

On January 8, 2025, the government issued a substantial 1,350 invitations to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class. The minimum CRS score for this draw was 542. This draw underscores Canada’s stated commitment to inviting candidates who have already gained work experience within the country and are well positions to further contribute to the Canadian economy.
