Express Entry Update: 4,300 Candidates Invited in General Draw

On August 15, 2023 Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued another round of invitations to apply for Express Entry. Invitations were issued to candidates under all Express Entry programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, Provincial Nominee Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

This week’s draw was not restricted to specific occupations, all candidates with CRS scores above the cut off score were invited to apply. The cut off score required for selection was 496 points, and 4,300 candidates were invited to apply. The cut off score in this week’s draw decreased considerably, from 517 points in previous general draw held on August 01, 2023.
