Express Entry Draws – June and July 2025
Throughout June and July 2025, the Canadian government continued its steady pace of Express Entry draws, focusing on candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams. These invitation rounds reflect Canada’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its workforce by selecting skilled workers with Canadian experience or provincial nominations to address specific labour market needs.
June 2025 Draws
- June 10, 2025 – PNP Draw: 125 invitations were issued to candidates nominated through a Provincial Nominee Program. The minimum CRS score was 784, reflecting the additional 600 points awarded to PNP nominees.
- June 12, 2025 – CEC Draw: This draw issued 2,000 invitations with a CRS cut-off of 529, prioritizing candidates with Canadian work experience.
- June 23, 2025 – PNP Draw: Another PNP-specific draw saw a larger round with 503 invitations issued. The CRS cut-off score was slightly lower than earlier PNP draws at 742.
- June 26, 2025 – CEC Draw: A second CEC draw in June invited 3,000 candidates with a lower CRS threshold of 521, continuing the trend of favouring applicants with established work experience in Canada.
July 2025 Draws
- July 7, 2025 – PNP Draw: The Canadian government invited 356 candidates through the PNP stream, with a CRS score requirement of 750. This remains a highly competitive category due to the CRS boost that comes with a provincial nomination.
- July 8, 2025 – CEC Draw: In the most recent CEC-specific round, 3,000 invitations were issued with a further reduced CRS cut-off of 518, which is the lowest CEC score threshold since September 2024.
