Express Entry Draw Highlights – June 2025
The Government of Canada conducted two Express Entry draws during the second week of June 2025, targeting candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program and the Canadian Experience Class. These draws highlight Canada’s ongoing commitment to selecting skilled workers who are well-positioned to integrate into the labour market—either through prior Canadian work experience or in response to specific provincial labour demands.
On June 10, 2025, 125 invitations were issued in a draw exclusively for candidates nominated through a Provincial Nominee Program. To receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence, candidates required a minimum CRS of 784, reflecting the 600-point boost that accompanies a provincial nomination.
Two days later, on June 12, 2025, a draw was held for Canadian Experience Class candidates, issuing 3,000 invitations. The minimum CRS score in this round was 529, underscoring the competitive nature of the current Express Entry pool and the value placed on recent Canadian work experience.
These draws demonstrate Canada’s strategic approach to immigration, focusing on applicants with strong potential for economic integration and contributions to local and national labour markets.
