Express Entry Draws – September 2025
This month, IRCC conducted its first education-focused Express Entry draw in over four months, as well as the first trade occupation draw of 2025. September’s education draw marks only the second draw ever in the education category, featuring a lower CRS cut-off and a larger number of invitations compared to the first draw in May. The trade occupation draw had a notably higher CRS cut-off than last year, likely due to the longer gap between draws and the larger candidate pool, which allowed for greater selectivity.
September 18, 2025 – Trade occupations: 1,250 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 505
September 17, 2025 – Education occupations: 2,500 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 462
September 15, 2025 – Provincial Nominee Program: 228 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 746
September 4, 2025 – French Language Proficiency: 4,500 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 446
September 3, 2025 – Canadian Experience Class: 1,000 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 534
September 2, 2025 – Provincial Nominee Program: 249 invitations issued, minimum CRS score 772
This year, Express Entry draws have largely focused on Provincial Nominee Program candidates, with additional draws targeting Canadian Experience Class applicants, French-language proficiency candidates, and priority occupation categories.
