Express Entry Draw: Cut off Score Increases to 488

On May 24, 2023, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued a new round of invitations to apply for permanent residence. Invitations were issued to candidates who qualify for selection under all Express Entry programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, Provincial Nominee Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

This week’s draw invited 4,800 candidates to apply. The minimum score required for selection in this week’s draw increased to 488 points, up from 483 points in the last all-program draw. Although this week’s draw was larger than the previous draws held in April, the minimum score required for selection increased due to the fact that this was the first all-program draw held in May to date.
