Elisa Usher


Elisa is an Associate Lawyer at BartLaw Canadian Immigration.

Elisa first became interested in immigration following her work with detained immigrants in Washington, D.C. and Virginia in 2002-2003.

She obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2006, and worked for five years in community relations, before returning to school and obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law in 2014.

She currently specializes in applications for temporary residence in Canada, with a focus on work permits and Labour Market Impact Assessments.
