Diane Gyimah

Having come to Canada as a refugee, Diane’s inspiration to assist clients with their immigration and citizenship needs comes from her own personal experiences.

Diane’s practice focuses on non-economic permanent residence, including spousal and parent sponsorships, permanent resident card applications and renewals, citizenship applications, humanitarian and compassionate applications, refugee applications and spousal sponsorship appeals.

While in law school, Diane worked on a public interest litigation project titled “Challenging the Use of Information Obtained through Torture in Immigration Proceedings.” Diane articled at a national Aboriginal law firm, where she assisted senior counsel with constitutional litigation files and economic development projects for various First Nations. Diane has also assisted various community organizations with immigration related research and litigation projects.
